Double-sided (Kapton®) has a 1 mil thick Kapton® film with 1.7 mils of high temperature pressure sensitive SILICONE adhesive on both sides.  This tape is constructed to fill the requirements of a high performance Thermoplastic Kapton® backing materials along with the high temperature resistance of the silicone adhesive for a broad range of electronic assembly and electrical insulation applications.

Performance & Application Information:
Double-sided Polyimide tapes exhibit superior heat resistant qualities along with low moisture absorption.  This tape has excellent mechanical and electrical properties and a high dielectric rating.  The 18-1DS tapes are used in high voltage insulation.
